Lesezeit: 4 minutes | Monday, 19. Aug 2019

The Federal Statistical Office in Germany released the new Accident Atlas with updated accident data from 2018 on Monday. The Accident Atlas contains information from the statistics of road traffic accidents based on reports from police stations. In the updated Accident Atlas, there is now also the possibility to display the sections of the road where accidents involving commercial vehicles such as trucks occurred.

Accident Atlas Germany

The Accident Atlas provides a regionally structured overview of accidents involving personal injury by road sections as well as individual accident locations. Users can choose whether to display all accidents or only accidents involving specific modes of transportation. You can access the German Accident Atlas here.

Accident Atlas Austria

In Austria, road traffic accidents are also statistically documented and provided in an Accident Atlas. There is even the option to animate the accident locations of individual accidents by time of day. You can access the Austrian Accident Atlas here.
